  Wheeled the pontoon vessel in here for a bite with the wife one afternoon. It was a great experience, and everything went well inside. When it was time for us to shove off and head back to the open waters, a nice gentleman in the slip next to me offered to push us out of the dock. I didn't want to look like a first timer, so I puffed my chest out and told him I had it under control. I had just married my wife and we were on our honeymoon. I guess you could say that I didn't have to keep trying to impress her since we had already tied the knot, but why not score points when I can, right? Anyway, this really nice guy helped me out of the dock. it was a nice gesture, and I have to tip my hat to him for not responding to my subtle projections of manliness. I'm sure it would have been very easy had he not been there, but it's kinda like holding the door for someone. Of course they can do it themselves, but why not hold it for them if you have a minute and a free hand? If I ever run into him again, I'll hold the door open for him or help him out of his boat slip anytime!
